White female from New Jersey H.S GPA: 3.98 weighted 3.81 unweighted SAT CR: 590 Math: 630 Writing: 580 only taken once take again this weekend National Honors Society member over 200 hours community service S.T.Y.L.E Club president (students teaching youth love and equality) Tutor and mentor PGC Leader MHS Soccer: 3 varsity letters, best offensive player 2009, Captain (12) MHS Spring Track: 3 Varsity letters, County & school record holder for triple jump, school record holder for pole vault. All-star cheerleader & gymnast for 7 years.- huge commitment, travel to texas, florida, indiana, south carolina, and georgia. I miss about 8 days of school a year due to travel. Presbyterian church youth group confirmed (10) Spent this summer at USC (CALIFORNIA) earning 3 college credits *First generation college student I love UM and really hope I can get accepted! Hey everyone, I've already got a 4 year degree in sport and entertainment. Needless to say it is useless and the chances of a great future in that are bleak. I'm going back to start pre pharmacy and I'm 23 years of age. MY first go round in college was more about partying and not about learning. When focused I can be a good student but it has been years sicne I've had any bio or chem classes. What are your thoughts on this? I also have a DUI on record from when I was 19 and I've spoken with once pharm school in my hometwon (presbyterian college) and they said you can get a license with one DUI. Will this still hinder me from getting in. My GPA is 3.26 and I didn't give it a 70% effort last time I was in school.

don't give up trying, give it all you have got, it is never too late too late to pick up another degree.

Now that you are a 'mature' student you should do better than last time round, if you really want to achieve this and put your mind to your studies. Look to the future, not to the past, and you can achieve your dream. Good luck.
